    Primary Class Teacher – Full-Time – Permanent – January 2024 Start – £35,000 – £65,000 Per Year – Sutton
    Are you a qualified or unqualified Primary Class Teacher looking for a new and exciting opportunity in a specialist setting?

    Do you have a passion for teaching young people with SEND and behavioural needs?
    WFW is working in close partnership with an award-winning Multi-Academy Trust, with 3 sites in South London. This lovely, small provision based in Sutton is seeking a Primary Class Teacher to join them from January 2024. This provision caters for all ages of students with an EHCP and very complex needs.

    The school fosters a person-centred, trauma-informed, holistic approach and provides vulnerable young people with a safe and positive environment to learn.

    All staff are highly skilled and passionate about helping the students they work with achieve the best possible outcomes for students with social emotional mental health (SEMH) needs.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Primary Class Teacher who aspires to work within a specialist setting.

    About the role of a

    Primary Class Teacher:

    Job Title:
    Primary Class Teacher

    Contract:
    permanent or temp to perm
    Outer London MPS1 – UPS3 (plus SEN Allowance)
    Qualified Teacher Status (ECTs and Unqualified Teachers will be considered if you have strong relevant teaching experience and other qualifications)
    Ideally has experience working in a special school or PRU OR is passionate about transitioning into a specialist setting working with students with SEMH and behavioural needs
    Confident behaviour management skills and relevant positive behaviour training such as MAPA or TeamTeach
    An undeniable commitment to your responsibilities as a teacher and passion for working with children with SEMH
    Excellent organisation and planning skills – an up-to-date knowledge of the UK curriculum and relevant research
