    With offices in the U.S., London and Asia Pacific, Talbot is the managing agent of Syndicate 1183 at Lloyd's. Syndicate 1183 underwrites a number of classes of business including war and terrorism, energy, marine, financial lines, cyber, transport, political risk, crisis management, kidnap & ransom, contingency, property and treaty reinsurance.

    How you will create an impact

    This position is responsible for delivering scheduled reports and analytics for the Claims department, whilst also supporting projects and process improvement initiatives.

    You will play a pivotal part in supporting the business plans and direction for the continuous improvement agenda of the Claims organisation.

    • BAU: Project Split - 65:35
    • Support projects and process improvement initiatives that will drive cost and time efficiencies, utilizing new technology, where appropriate.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders and support the Claims Projects and Process Lead in gathering requirements, mapping and documenting business processes and defining clear objectives for process enhancements

    What you'll need to succeed

    • An interest in analysing and evaluating data to drive business insights
    • Proven experience within an Insurance organisation is desirable
    • Experience in a Lloyd's Managing Agent is preferred
    • Experience in a Claims team or on Claims projects is preferred.
    • A strong attention to detail and an interest and desire to work with data
