Reactive Supervisor - London, United Kingdom - FM Conway
Description
Excellent opportunity to join FM Conway as a Reactive Supervisor to work on our Westminster County Council contract, which is one of the most prestigious contracts in London. You will be leading and managing a team of Operatives and Team Leaders, whilst supporting the Contracts Manager by reviewing workloads and allocation of resources and carrying out site visits ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard and in budget. This is a permanent, full time position based from our Mandela Way office but working on various sites in Westminster.
The duties of the Reactive Supervisor role will include:
-Ensuring the smooth running of works through regular liaison with the client, employees and subcontracts
-Writing Health and Safety plans, method statements, risk assessments and site packs ensuring that all works have the appropriate documentation
-Writing specific programmes of work and updating when required
-Raising technical queries, ensuring their resolution and communicating all relevant information is shared with the team
-Ordering plant and materials to support the programme of works
-Ensuring that the highest level of health and safety is always maintained
What skills and experience do you need?
You will be a dynamic and motivated Reactive Supervisor with previous experience in high volume minor works in the highways or construction industry. You will have excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills and be able to communicate effectively at all levels. To be considered for the role you will ideally have experience in NEC, JCT or ICE contracts, you will hold a CSCS card and SSSTS.
This role will involve travel to other FM Conway and customer locations therefore, you must be able to drive and possess a full UK driving licence.
