    Legal Counsel Position at Viator

    The Role:

    Viator seeks a skilled legal counsel to join their UK team. The ideal candidate will report to Viator's Assistant General Counsel and play a vital role in both Viator's operations and Tripadvisor's global legal team. They are looking for a collaborative, creative, and curious legal professional who can handle various legal matters in a fast-paced environment. The role involves working in a hybrid model, with options for remote work and office work in London or Oxford.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide legal support on a wide range of matters, including product, regulatory, commercial, and transactional advice.
    • Advise on compliance with local, national, and international laws and regulations.
    • Oversee changes in product offerings and advise on related risks.
    • Collaborate with different teams on tax and payments compliance.
    • Draft and negotiate commercial agreements.
    • Offer advice on promotional materials, online advertising, and email marketing.
    • Work closely with other legal teams in a collaborative manner.

    Skills and Experience:

    • At least 2 years of post-qualification legal experience.
    • Experience in legal issues impacting online marketplaces and digital businesses.
    • Strong work ethic and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
    • Attention to detail and proactive mindset.
    • Enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
