- Serving as a subject matter expert on money laundering, bribery and corruption, terrorism financing, tax evasion, fraud and sanctions risks
- Providing holistic assessments and sound recommendations to manage client, transaction, geographical and product risk across SCIB
- Providing advice to first- and second-line teams on policy application for all SCIB business lines including markets, debt financing, corporate financing and transaction banking
- Creating and maintain desktop manuals documenting policy application at a product level.
- Overseeing and support submissions to global committees
- Contributing towards enhancing global FCC policies and framework and support training as needed
- Proven experience in Financial Crime Compliance Advisory ( nd Line of Defence) roles in financial institutions with an international client-base
- An in-depth knowledge of UK Money Laundering Regulations and accompanying industry guidance with strong UK, US, EU and UN Sanctions regimes and the ability to practically apply these in your day-to-day work
- Knowledge of corporate and investment banking products and associated financial crime risks
- Educated to Degree level with ACAMS Certification or ICA Diplomas or Equivalent there of
- Previous experience inputting into financial crime policies
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

As an experienced VP in Financial Crime Compliance (FCC), you will be responsible for overseeing assessments of Financial Crime risks within the second line of defence and providing advice to the corporate and investment banking business and support functions to ensure compliance with Financial Crime regulations and Policy requirements.
Reporting to the Global Head of Compliance Advisory and working closely with the Global SCIB FCC team, this role will be instrumental in the execution of a robust financial crime framework to support business expansion strategy.
