Senior Procurement Manager (Information Technology), hybrid working, HQ offices in Berkshire or Midlands base. Base salary range £75-85K, car allowance and up to 20% Bonus. Knowledge and experiences across a regulated procurement environment and managing a small team are highly desirable.

Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you will manage a small team of 3 in this highly visible role, providing leadership and oversight for end-to-end procurement from strategy design to execution, responsible for managing all aspects of the sourcing process for suppliers, contracts, and technology category areas.

The role is responsible for developing a business-centric procurement strategy that delivers for the future requirements of the organisation, leading the team to manage compliance, whilst leveraging spend across the IT and technology category.

To be successful in this role, you will have...

Experience of leading an IT Procurement category team, as well as hands on delivery, executing projects and programmes.

A track record of strategic leadership, managing others and working with cross-functional teams, playing a mentorship and coaching role where required.

A recognised degree, or a postgraduate business management qualification is preferred. An appropriate professional CIPS qualification, or similar registration would be an advantage.
Experience of a range of negotiating tactics to achieve commercial and non-commercial outcomes.
Excellent stakeholder management and strong communication skills at all levels.

In-depth understanding of the supply market within Digital, Data and Technology, and the ability to determine opportunities for cost reduction and supplier performance enhancement.

Commercial acumen and an ability to think strategically about future requirements.
