    Description

    We are looking for a HR Welfare and Compliance Officer to be part of our team. If you have a background in HR or compliance, this position might be a good match for you. The role will be based in Norwich and Ely, requiring you to split your time between both sites.

    About the job:

    • Take charge of all clerical and administrative duties related to the seasonal worker scheme, such as managing the provider's portals (e.g., Sabre).
    • Assist in labor planning and manage the returnee database when necessary.
    • Communicate arrivals and departures to site teams and stay in touch with scheme operators for updates.
    • Handle employee lifecycle tasks concerning seasonal workers, ensuring all necessary documents are sent and completed before travel.
    • Provide thorough inductions for seasonal workers and ensure relevant paperwork is filled out.
    • Help in opening bank accounts and completing NINO applications for new arrivals.
    • Maintain seasonal worker data in HRIS accurately and submit payroll reports to the finance team biweekly.
    • Act as the welfare contact for the seasonal worker scheme, addressing and resolving any complaints.
    • Support operational teams in performance management processes.
    • Attend webinars related to seasonal worker taskforce for updates and relevant information.
    • Ensure access to medical facilities for workers and arrange necessary appointments.
    • Organize social events for seasonal workers to enhance their experience.
    • Serve as an employee voice representative, actively seeking feedback to enhance the work environment.
    • Assist the Head of HR in SWS labor provider audits and perform compliance checks related to forced labor.
    • Analyze offboarding surveys to improve the employee experience in collaboration with operational teams.
    • Maintain up-to-date notices in canteens and relevant languages.
    • Conduct audits on scheme operators and perform weekly checks on third-party accommodation sites.

    Requirements:

    • Proficiency in Turkish or Russian is desirable but not mandatory.
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong attention to detail and compliance with regulations.
