An amazing position is available for a qualified Radiography Assistant Practitioner You will support the plain film service based at Royal Preston Hospital although there will be some requirement to work at other Trust sites.
You will be working as a Radiographic Assistant Practitioner under IR(ME)R to produce high quality plain film images to aid in the diagnosis of patients conditions.
Including working alongside radiographic practitioners in ED, fracture clinic, main x-ray and chest clinic.Your responsibilities include aiding radiographers in acquiring diagnostic-quality x-rays, as well as providing assistance in patient chaperoning and changing procedures.
You will collaborate closely with radiography practitioners to ensure the provision of a seamless 24-hour service, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of our department's operations.

GCSE in English and Mathematics – grade C or above
Experience working as an Assistant Practitioner in Radiography
Level 2 numeracy
Previous experience working in an acute healthcare setting
Able to demonstrate Health & Safety awareness
