    Are you an experienced HR professional looking for your next challenge in the retail industry? Are you passionate about driving organisational success through effective human resources strategies? Our client is a mid-sized online retail business seeking a highly skilled Interim Chief HR Officer (CHRO) to join our dynamic retail brand.

    As Interim Chief HR Officer, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the company's goals and values.

    You will lead a talented HR team while collaborating with cross-functional partners to drive organisational effectiveness and support the implementation of HR best practice as the business goes through a period of change.

    Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute HR strategies that align with the company's vision and goals.


    • Oversee all aspects of HR function including employee engagement, performance management, compensation and benefits, learning and development, and employee relations.
    • Provide strategic guidance and act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on HR-related matters.
    • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
    • Foster a high-performance culture that promotes employee development, engagement, and retention.
    • Lead diversity and inclusion initiatives to create an inclusive and equitable work environment.
    • Monitor HR metrics and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement.

    Proven experience as a Chief HR Officer or similar HR leadership role, ideally in the retail industry but open to transferable sectors.


    • In-depth knowledge of human resources principles, practices, and employment laws.
    • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to drive HR initiatives aligned with business objectives.
    • Experience developing and implementing successful talent management and organisational development strategies.
    • Demonstrated ability to foster a positive work culture and promote diversity, inclusion, and employee well-being.
