    Description
    Our client is an innovative startup backed by major players in the capital markets and financial services industries.

    They are at the forefront of disrupting the ETF creation and redemption landscape through our cohesive, standardised, and automated solutions.

    Their mission is to revolutionise primary market transactions in Exchange-Traded Products (ETPs) by leveraging distributed ledger technology (DLT).

    They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Developer & DLT Architect to join their dynamic team in London.

    You will play a pivotal role in designing and developing their cutting-edge SaaS platform focused on enhancing primary market transactions in Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) using distributed ledger technology (DLT).

    This is a hybrid role that requires both hands-on development expertise and strong architectural skills.

    The successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow into a leadership position, with the potential to become their Chief Technology Officer.


    Design, develop, and oversee the implementation of a scalable and secure DLT-based SaaS platform that enables efficient and transparent ETF create/redeem processes.


    • Stay abreast of emerging trends and advancements in DLT, and relevant industry standards to drive innovation and continuous improvement in our platform.
    • Identify, mitigate and manage any potential risks and bottlenecks in the DLT architecture, ensuring high performance, stability, reliability, scalability, and security of the platform.
    • Actively engaging in code reviews, quality assurance, and testing processes to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software solutions.
    • Extensive experience as a developer and architect, with a focus on distributed ledger technology.
    • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and handson experience with DLT frameworks, such as IBM Hyperledger Fabric, Ethereum, or similar
    • Proven track record in designing and implementing scalable and secure SaaS platforms with a focus on financial services or capital markets.
    • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Indepth understanding of the ETF industry, including primary market transactions, creation/redemption processes, and associated regulatory requirements, is a plus
