    You will be joining our growing central team whose sole aim is to ensure that all children and students get the very best support, care and guidance that enables them to achieve their very best.

    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced finance leader with a proven track record to control the trust's accounting, develop the Trust's vision for effective financial management and support the central finance and schools/college teams ensuring compliance with statutory legal and financial regulations in addition to the Trust's financial policies and procedures.

    To provide leadership and management of all aspects of business and finance, so that the Trust and its schools can run smoothly, effectively and efficiently in the delivery of the core aims.

    To ensure sound and appropriate financial governance and financial risk management arrangements and actively contribute to the work of the Trust and central executive team.

    To provide senior financial leadership and play a key role in the raising of standards.
    To be a role model for others in the quality of their own work.
    To support the professional development of colleagues.

    To be responsible for the operational line management of the business and finance function and managing all the financial accounting and transactional finance for the Trust ensuring all systems are up-to-date and reporting is timely and in line with required annual financial returns.

    To monitor financial performance and have a detailed understanding of the financial performance of the Trust and its schools.

    To drive change within the finance operation of the Trust bringing greater efficiency in the way the Trust carries out its business.

    The successful candidate should be committed to improving the lives of children and students at LIPA Multi Academy Trust.

    The successful candidate will be joining a vibrant learning community.

    The Trust works collaboratively with leaders to ensure our Values are promoted, embodied, and celebrated by all the staff and children.
