    Description
    To contribute to the work undertaken by the centre on behalf of CAFCASS, the Local Authority, independent/voluntary agencies, and private clients by
    supervising and assessing Family Time in the centre and venues in the community.
    To always ensure that the child/young person's safety and wellbeing are paramount.

    Work within the guidelines drawn up for each specific session including ensuring risk assessments are closely followed and updated when needed.

    To recognise any risks of harm and intervene to ensure the safety of the child

    To use child friendly consultation methods to find out children's views on the service, any ideas for improvement or changes and also to find out what toys/equipment/activities they would like.

    To work within the parameters of all Buzz's policies and values
    Immediately report to the centre any concerns of a child protection nature in accordance with policy and procedure
    Participate in training and supervision opportunities to ensure development of your own practice and
    Family Time (Child Contact) Supervisor
    NVQ Level 3 in Child Care or Health and Social Care or equivalent
    GCSE English Grade C or above or equivalent
    Experience of working with children/families
    Experience of working with children and adults with additional needs
    Knowledge of the Children Act 1989
    Some knowledge of child development
    Good recording and report writing skills
    Personal Qualities
    Ability to confidently work alone
    Willing to travel if needed and have use of car and current driving licence or be willing to use public transport
