    Default job background
    Description

A specialist engineering contractor, with a reputation for designing and delivering some of London's most complex and innovative civil engineering projects.

Constructing Europe's deepest habitable basement, The Londoner Hotel.

Delivering the impossible at Claridge's Hotel's mega basement and more recently, designing out 88% of The Acre's embodied carbon of the temporary works.

    Focusing on quality and innovation.

We develop smart engineering solutions to complex problems and develop methods of working that enable fast delivery with safety and quality by design, using our in-house Construction Engineering team (CET), providing temporary works sequences, solution design and digital modelling.

We operate a risk-based approach in everything that we do, identifying and mitigating risks through our planning.
We compliment this with our in-house supply chain, self-delivery philosophy and our support services.

As a Planner you will be responsible for supporting the successful completion of projects by creating, amending, and updating detailed programmes.

This role involves coordinating various project elements, ensuring commercial awareness, and operational effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle.

A key aspect of this role is to collaborate and work closely with internal and external stakeholders including the Project Manager, Construction Manager, Commercial team, in-house design team, wider team members and clients to extract critical information and communicate potential changes and obstacles to the programme, allowing for the timely resolution of issues and the alignment of everyone's efforts toward common project goals.

General Programme Management including development of initial programmes based on first principles.
Prepare and present contract programs for tender submissions.
Analyse, review, and recommend main contract programs post-contract award.
Commercial and Change Control including analysing potential risks and developing contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.
Generating and distribute reports on project schedules, progress, and performance indicators.

Proficiency in planning software and the Microsoft Office Suite is expected.

If you would like to join a team of exceptional people, working on high-profile complex engineering projects in London, please contact our Recruitment Manager directly at ella.

McGee is a committed Equal Opportunities and Diversity employer.
