    We are currently recruiting for a Professional Indemnity Underwriter to join our established and experienced Financial Lines team here at RSA London on a hybrid basis.

    Your Role

    This role involves working with selected brokers to optimise profitable growth. You will apply a range of underwriting, relationship management and business development techniques to help achieve this growth. This applies to new and/or existing cases within our agreed process and defined underwriting appetite.

    You will spend most of your time working with your selected brokers, identifying, discussing, negotiating and converting new and existing business opportunities and making effective underwriting decisions. Within this role you will underwrite the following lines of business: Professional Indemnity.

    About You

    To be successful in your role of Underwriter you will require experience in Professional Indemnity insurance, preferably from an underwriting background but a broking background would also be considered.

    You will be able to build working relationships with insurance brokers and write profitable business to ensure growth of the account.
