- Identify, evaluate, and onboard strategic partners across various categories (OEMs, distributors, contractors, etc.) to create a robust ecosystem.
- Collaborate with internal teams to define partner criteria, segmentation, and engagement strategies.
- Develop and execute partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and contractual details with partners.
- Foster win-win collaborations that drive mutual growth.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies related to datacenters and hyperscale cloud services.
- Leverage this knowledge to identify partnership opportunities and inform our expansion strategy.
- Understand partner offerings, capabilities, and roadmaps.
- Enable partners to effectively position our solutions within their portfolios.
- Provide necessary resources, training, and support to enhance partner success.
- Define KPIs and performance metrics for partner engagement and expansion.
- Regularly track and report on partner performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, product, and technical teams to align partner initiatives with overall business objectives.
- Ensure seamless communication and coordination across departments.
- The ability to assess markets and opportunities and build long-term strategies to accelerate growth – including Build, partner, buy analysis, joint value propositions, and go-to-market plans.
- The ability to sell complex global customer projects where team selling is necessary with multiple sales locations, Partners or Alliances, and Systems Integrators.
- Strong knowledge and ability to perform key steps in complex selling and business development cycle. In-depth understanding of markets and channels globally
- Create and deliver presentations to diverse audiences from technical to business management to senior management within Rockwell Automation and Partners.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience.
- Certifications related to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals) are a plus.
- Proven experience (8+ years) in partner management, alliances, or business development within the technology industry.
- Strong network within the datacenter and hyperscaler ecosystem.
- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to influence at all levels.

Job Description
As a Global Partner Manager at Rockwell Automation , you will be a pivotal force in establishing and nurturing strategic partnerships to accelerate datacenter and hyperscaler expansion with our customers. Your mission is to cultivate strong relationships with diverse partners, including OEMs, distributors, contractors, systems integrators, technology partners , and other relevant stakeholders. By collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will significantly contribute to our organization's growth and success in the dynamic cloud and datacenter landscape. In carrying out this responsibility the Global Partner Manager will work closely with businesses, industry teams and sales regions. The Global Partner Manager is expected to have the ability to work effectively in a complex commercial team environment involving Global Sales and Marketing and various businesses globally and within sales regions.
