- Collaborate with Solution Architect, Commercial, Business Development, and Sales to understand proposed solutions.
- Model alternative solution scenarios, documenting pricing assumptions and conducting "what-if" scenario modelling.
- Communicate capital and cash flow considerations/conflicts driven by solution and client needs.
- Ensure a plan for solution delivery and costing aligns with corporate approvals and client deadlines.
- Set and validate target pricing benchmarks and maintain knowledge of bench-marking prices including price to win analysis.
- Review and assess financial risks, including volume, payment, and currency. Track financial impact of solution changes.
- Produce final client pricing tables and recommend improvements for ease of billing and financial reporting. Contribute to improving costing and pricing efficiency.
- Manage financial aspects in Best and Final Offer (BAFO) and negotiation changes.
- Ensure bids comply with corporate standards and SOX requirements.
- Support Sales Team in contract negotiations, tailoring messages for diverse audiences and ensuring understanding through examples.
- A proven track record in producing and managing schedules within complex bids/projects, or a demonstrable history of engagement in the delivery of complex projects.
- Solid experience in pre-sales activities, including post-sale contract changes and maintenance of pricing tools.
- Considerable experience and understanding of proposed solutions, working closely with Solution Architects, Commercial, Business Development, and Sales leads.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and convey information clearly and persuasively.
- Solid experience working in a multi-stakeholder environment, adept at creating clear and achievable goals while fostering collaboration.
- Excellent organizational skills, consistently delivering results within agreed-upon timelines with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong business acumen demonstrated by a keen commercial and financial awareness.
- Proficiency in Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, enabling efficient financial analysis and modelling.
- Solid experience in reviewing the financial terms and conditions of customer-proposed contracts to ensure consistency with the proposals.
- Must hold Security Clearance (SC) or be willing to undergo the clearance process, which necessitates a minimum of 3 years unbroken residency in the UK.
