- Lead and manage a multi-disciplined maintenance team to ensure maximum availability of plant and equipment across site
- Monitor and analyse equipment performance, identify opportunities for improvement and work with Asset Engineers to implement corrective actions as necessary
- Lead & motivate and develop the Technicians to meet operational KPI's and drive world class standards
- Provide technical expertise and support to the team as required
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
- Manage budgets and resources effectively
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders
- Mentor and develop Technicians, ensure all relevant training is delivered in line with the multi-skilling programRequirements:
- Apprentice trained Engineer with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a maintenance leadership role (ideally HNC qualified)
- Experience of managing a team in a chemical manufacturing or similar process environment
- Good knowledge electrical and mechanical systems
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Sound knowledge of maintenance best practices and techniques
- Experience utilising a CMMS system – SAP advantageous
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Pro-active mindset and excellent planning skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
