    Description

    At Voltalia we are passionate about renewable energies We are an electricity producer from wind, solar, hydro, biomass and storage and also a service provider to 3rd party clients such as Development, EPC, O&M and Distribution.

    The Accountant ensures the production of financial information, which includes accounting entries, closings, tax returns and invoicing, while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

    He/She acts as the focal point for the Ola/IFS tool, providing assistance, driving improvements, and facilitating training for accounting to ensure efficient financial operations and continuous improvement.

    Production of financial information (portfolio of a dozen entities of the group):
    Ensure the entry of all the entries of these different companies (bearing in mind that the supplier and bank cycles are under the responsibility of the Shared Service Centre)
    Establish monthly, quarterly and annual closings for the scope covered (including tax returns and annual accounts)
    Participate in the group's accounting closing: Establish the income statement and balance sheet in the consolidation software (HFM), process IFRS homogenization entries
    Updating Reconciliation Files
    Monthly preparation of customer invoices and follow-up of accounting processing
    Follow-up on requests for assistance from the accounting team in relation to OLA
    Organization of regular training and follow-up meetings with the accounting team
    Identify and communicate to the team ERP system improvements, issues, and accounting processes encountered

    In-depth knowledge of accounting and taxation
    Minimum Bac +3 in Accounting
    At least 5 years of experience in accounting, (business experience would be desirable)
    Good knowledge of Windows and Excel
    Professional English
    Experience and knowledge of an ERP system are essential skills (SAP, IFS, Oracle, etc.)
    Geography Finance - UK, Italy, Spain, Portugal
