We have an exciting opportunity for someone looking to kick-start their Accounting career in a well-established investment Fund Administration Company in Brighton.


Fund Administration companies are the back office function behind investment portfolios - meaning they can be highly profitable and dynamic places to work.

Our client will offer training and support to obtain professional accountancy qualifications, as well as exciting development opportunities.


Salary £25,000 - £27,000 depending on experience

Full support for ACCA/CPA/CIMA qualifications

Hybrid working available

Central Brighton office
Previous experience working in an accountancy firm is desirable.

Recent graduates with relevant degrees will also be considered.


You will be providing full-service accounting duties to clients, including responsibilities ranging from general ledger maintenance to financial and investor reporting.


You will be in a client-facing role, liaising with clients in Europe and in the US, so you will need to have strong and proactive communication skills.


Key duties:

  • Bookkeeping fund activity in accounting system and ensuring general ledgers is maintained.
  • Preparing expense, prepayments, and accruals journals.
  • Preparing monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Assisting with the preparation of quarterly investor reporting, annual statutory reporting, and related workpapers.
  • Assisting with industry specific reports, e.g., investor capital account statements, fund metrics, capital activity and those related to specific investor requests.
  • Maintaining compliance with internal control procedures.
  • Liaison with clients, auditors, and affiliates.
