    Description
    Interim Occupational Therapist - Independent Living Service
    99 per hour PAYE depending on experience
    37 Monday to Friday, normal working hours

    Working as part of the of the Independent Living Service, ensuring the effective delivery of services to enhance people's wellbeing.

    Expected to be flexible in undertaking the duties and responsibilities attached to their post and may be asked to perform other duties, which reasonably correspond to the general character of the post and are commensurate with its level of responsibility.

    Working in line with the thresholds agreed in North Lincolnshire to support people to receive the right help at the right time, tailored to their needs at that particular point.

    Promoting the Independent Living Service, including supporting staff development and training.
    Maintain knowledge of evidence-based research and new developments in Therapy Services, disseminate and apply this in North Lincolnshire.

    Provide a strong professional lead role, and at times provide direct coaching and mentoring, to team managers, back care advisor and others, in order to support the achievement of strategic, operational and personal development objectives.

    Support the budget management and identifying any risks associated with the service, including monitoring and reporting in line with Council procedures.

    Work within the Disabled Facilities Grant process with external partners
    Provide professional advice and support relating to moving and handling issues.
    Develop and deliver audience appropriate training.

    If you are successful in securing this role, please note that for the entire duration of this contract, regardless of extension you will be working this role at the PAYE rate that has been advertised.

    For absolute clarity, we only work on a PAYE basis, rather than entertaining umbrella pay terms, we do no t offer Ltd/umbrella or outside IR35 rates.
