    The Board of Directors, in partnership with the Archdiocese of Birmingham and the Local Governing Body are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Building Site Manager (Caretaker) to join our friendly, hard-working and dedicated team. The successful candidate will have building maintenance skills and good time management skills, which will ensure the daily smooth running of our school.

    The Rosary Catholic Primary School prides itself on our strong team ethos. We are a two-form entry primary school with a Nursery in the Saltley area of Birmingham.

    The successful candidate will, not only be part of the Rosary family, but will also have supportive and inspiring colleagues across the St Teresa of Calcutta MAC.

    The successful applicant will:

    • be responsible for the day to day maintenance and caretaking of the school buildings and grounds


    • have an understanding of asbestos and it's safe supervision


    • be suitably qualified in maintenance and building skills


    • computer literate to enable access to emails and online courses/training


    • conversant in their understanding of health and safety


    • be a good communicator, able to work positively with staff


    • be a person who enjoys life, has a sense of humour and is prepared to go that extra mile
