    Practice Nurse - London Doctors Clinic

    24h/week -3 days

    Salary - Up to £50k/year FTE

    London Doctors Clinic is looking for competent, compassionate, and confident Practice Nurse to join our team at the London leading Private GP practices

    We provide Private GP services to patients across London. We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to put their health first and we help support our patients, clients, and employees to do so.

    Requirements:

    Successful candidate must have previous experience in practice nurse role, ideally within a private clinic set up and have active NMC pin. You will be required to undertake general nursing, phlebotomy duties, health assessments and provide patients with health advise.

    Other duties and responsibilities are:

    • Dietary advice
    • Blood pressure checks
    • Health screening
    • Ear syringing
    • Dressings
    • ECG
    • Phlebotomy
    • Routine injections such as B12 and VTE prophylaxis (not exhaustive)
    • Contraception initiation and monitoring excluding coils and implants
    • Routine immunisations and vaccinations
    • Removal of sutures / clips
    • Assisting with the fitting of IUCD / IUS
    • Assisting with minor procedures in the treatment room
    • Organise and coordinate the provision of nursing services for the practice to include the delegation of duties to other members of the practice nurse team as appropriate
    • Smoking cessation
    • Chronic Disease Management

    About you:

    • To represent high quality of patient care
    • To be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • To be willing to undertake educational programmes as appropriate to the post.
    • To be willing to support wider nursing team with general nurse appointments when required.
    • To be able to work autonomously.
    • To demonstrate ability to manage your own workload.

    Essential

    • Registered Nurse with valid NMC pin
    • Previous practice nurse experience
    • IT literacy
    • To be willing to undertake educational programmes as appropriate to the post
    • To be willing to support wider nursing team with general nurse appointments when required

    Desirable

    • Educated to degree or masters level
    • Dermatology qualification
    • ECG capability
