The Vacancy
We are keen to welcome a Counsellor to join our TARGET Learning Support Team. We are looking for the right candidate to provide counselling support for our A level students. You will work alongside our current counsellor, managing a caseload of students.
You will have experience of working with young adults and understand the range of difficulties this age group can bring. You will have a focus on supporting the mental health and wellbeing of all students in the college and support the wider staff with training and awareness raising.
About Newcastle Sixth Form College
Newcastle Sixth Form College is the largest Sixth Form College in the region, with over 1,300 students and around 100 dedicated staff, providing a wide range of A Levels. The College opened in 2013 and offers a dedicated A-Level campus in the heart of Newcastle's city centre.
