    Here at EMIS we are searching for three additional Associate Engineers to join us on a permanent basis.
    This could be the perfect opportunity for someone who has some experience of coding by being self-taught, completed a bootcamp or industry experience, we want to hear from you

    As an Associate Engineer you will sit within our Customer Support function, where you will be responsible for creating software solutions to problems raised against our product suite.

    We will provide you with the support, training, coaching and development you need to further your career at EMIS.

    You will receive support from Expert Developers, Engineering Managers, Customer Support Team Leaders, and Technical Directors, we will give you what you need to succeed.

    Please note this is a hybrid role and will require you to be on-site 2 days per week in our Leeds office.

    You will proactively learn the codebase, write basic code, fix defects, and assist the wider development team. Continue to upskill yourself and improve your coding skills.
    Help to resolve defects/bugs during QA testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patches.
    We want to hear about your desire to pursue a career in Software Engineering.

    You will demonstrate a basic knowledge of one or more programming languages, frameworks, and databases, this will include and SQL .

    Solution driven with a creative mindset.
    Great attention to detail and quality focused.
    Keen to build operational knowledge in 21st century IT (Cloud, Social, Mobility, IoT, Big Data, etc).
    Understanding of other programming languages and the software development lifecycle e.g. (AWS, React, Agile).
