    Commercial Director - Highways DivisionLocation: Nottingham (Primary focus on projects in the north of England. Candidates don't necessarily need to be based in and around Nottingham)

    Salary/Rate:
    £100,000 - £120,000/annum + Car allowance, Pension etc.

    About the RoleAs the Commercial Director for a leading infrastructure organization, you will be instrumental in driving commercial success and strategic growth within the Highways Division.

    Reporting directly to the Commercial Director
    • Infrastructure, you will lead a team of commercial professionals, overseeing all commercial aspects of projects within the highways sector.
    Your role will involve maximizing profitability, mitigating risks, ensuring contractual compliance, and fostering strong client relationships while driving business development initiatives.
    Primary ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute commercial strategy for the Highways DivisionManage contracts, financial aspects, and risks associated with projectsCultivate and maintain client relationshipsLead and motivate a team of commercial professionalsDrive business development initiativesEnsure compliance with relevant regulations and governance standardsSkills and ExperienceBachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree or professional qualifications preferredProven track record in senior commercial leadership roles within infrastructure or construction, with focus on highways projectsExtensive knowledge of contract management, negotiations, and risk assessmentStrong financial acumen and analytical skillsExcellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilitiesStrategic thinking and innovation in a competitive business environmentWhat We OfferCompetitive salary packageGenerous holiday allowance including bank holidaysCar allowancePension schemeOpportunities for learning and developmentWellbeing support and assistance
