Teaching Assistant with Specialism in Challenging Behaviour

Location:
Blackburn

Are you passionate about supporting the educational development of every child, especially those with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? I have a Primary school in Blackburn who are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant with expertise in SEN to work with a child in Year 6 with challenging behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored support and assistance to students with SEN, ensuring their individual needs are met within the classroom environment.
Collaborate with teachers and specialists to create and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for SEN students.
Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere where every student feels valued and supported

Requirements:
Relevant experience working with children with SEN, either in a school setting or similar environment.
Strong understanding of various SEN conditions and strategies to support diverse learning needs.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team

Qualifications:
Minimum of TA2 or Health and Social Care preferred.
Any additional certifications or training related to SEN would be advantageous
