- As a Shift Maintenance Engineer you will be maintaining the site including Extrusion and Thermoforming machines effectively, to the required optimum operating standards to ensure minimal downtime
- You will be able to respond to machine breakdowns quickly and efficiently
- As a Shift Maintenance Engineer you will diagnose and effectively deal with the problems as they arise
- You will be support the engineering planned maintenance program with the continual improvement process
- you will be able to prioritise your workload in line with engineering guidelines and business requirements
- As a Shift Maintenance Engineer you will liaise effectively with engineering stores to maintain stock levels of parts, to ensure key equipment can be continually maintained
- You will be able to work as a team and on your own to support projects when required
- You will be a multiskilled engineer with good electrical/mechanical background.
- You will be qualified in the latest regulations (completed an apprenticeship or formal City & Guilds qualification)
- As a Shift Maintenance Engineer you will be able to diagnose issues, understand the root cause and implement corrective action when required
- You will have knowledge of PLC's, control panel experience & ability to interpret electrical schematic diagrams
- You will be able to work on your own initiative and be a problem solver
- As a Shift Maintenance Engineer you will have excellent communication skills that are paramount to be able to understand and communicate effectively with other employees and work effectively within your team & department Team Leaders/ Managers
- You will have relevant IT skills, good physical fitness and good attention to detail
