Adult Social Care encompasses a wide range of vital services covering;Commissioning Team – we commission and work with a number of providers, to ensure that people with care needs have access to a range of good quality support which is culturally sensitive to enable them to live independent and fulfilling lives

We are recruiting a Service Manager to provide effective leadership and management of services for adults over the age of 65 in Coventry.
The role is responsible for longer-term case management including safeguarding, operating within multi-agency and community settings which are diverse.You will efficiently and effectively lead and manage services, ensuring they meet relevant quality standards, are responsive and inclusive, personalised, outcome focused, promote independence and enhance choice and control of people with care and support needs and carers.
At this exciting time for Adult Social Care, as Service Manager you will lead and contribute to the overall development of service provision in response to new government initiatives, guidance and legislation.
This post is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
The adults we work with come from a variety of backgrounds and in order to deliver the best possible care it is vital that we have a workforce that represents and understands their unique experiences and perspectives.

We are looking for an individual with knowledge and experience of working with Older Adults.You will have experience of managing large operational services within health or social care services, experience of managing complex budgets and of maintaining services while adhering to tight financial targets.
We are looking for someone who is adaptable to change, committed to delivering personalised outcomes and has experience in multi / cross agency working at management level and working with ethnically diverse teams and clients.
