    Salary:£40,600 - £61,100 +company car/cash allowance, performance-related bonus+ a range of other benefits to support yourfamily, finances and wellbeing

    We design, install, monitor, maintain and optimise building control systems and are part of SSE's Distributed Energy division developing solutions for smart places - cities, campuses and buildings.

    Our business helps achieve optimised working environments leading to reductions in buildings' energy consumption through the installation and maintenance of a variety of building control technologies, including Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS), and the application of data analytics to provide building performance insights.

    What is the Role?

    As part of our growth plans, we are looking to increase our growing team and require a BMS Project Engineer to work across London and the South East.

    Key accountabilities will include:

    • Performing job start up, checkout, and troubleshooting for systems and service installed jobs.
    • Providing guidance to contractors at the assigned level of responsibility.
    • Understanding and be aware of contract conditions and requirements.
    • Planning, coordinating, and supervising all project labour requirements.
    • Monitoring and record project progress and deliveries in accordance with the project programme.
    • Preparing content and quality of the required descriptions, drawings and schedules.
    • Ensuring all project hardware is correctly implemented and installed as specified or required.

    What do I need?

    • You'll have extensive experience operating as either a Project Manager or Project Engineer within the BEMS & Building Controls industries in the UK marketplace with technical understanding of Siemens, Trend or Tridium systems.
    • You'll have demonstrable and verifiable experience of commercial management in the industries outlined above and be able to work alongside the management team.
    • You'll be working in an everchanging environment and as such will be adaptable and flexible in your approach.
    • Excellent communication skills and report writing are essential to maintain strong relationships with all team member and customers.
