    Job Description

    Senior Architect – Developer (Client-Side)

    Vertical Recruitment are working with a renowned residential developer known for their innovative and high-quality residential designs. They are looking for an experienced architect to join their team to lead the architectural side of their business, overseeing projects from concept to completion.

    Job Overview

    This is a unique opportunity to bring your architectural vision to life, working on residential projects from the moment the land is acquired to the final stages of construction. You will be responsible for creating designs that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional, ensuring that each project meets the high standards of quality that are already in place.

    Key Responsibilities

    · Lead the architectural design process for residential projects, from initial concept development to construction documentation.

    · Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that designs meet project requirements, budget constraints, and timelines.

    · Coordinate with external consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies to obtain necessary approvals and permits.

    · Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure that construction aligns with design intent.

    · Be part of building and developing an architectural team.

    Key requirements

    · Part 3 qualified and have at least 5 years working as a Senior Architect for a UK based practice or equivalent professional qualification.

    · Creative flair

    · Residential experience

    · Project management skills

    · Have excellent technical skills

    · Have a strong understanding of the UK Building and Planning regulations

    · Excellent communication skills both verbally and written

    · Proven experience working on all RIBA stages

    · Excellent technical detailing
