    Description

    Our client who have been providing their services for over 100 years are currently recruiting for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their friendly team on a permanent basis from their offices based in Cheltenham.

    With a strong reputation for their client focused services they are looking for a reliable individual with experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

    You must have previous experience working within an accounts environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Reconciliation of bank
    • Posting all purchase and sale invoices
    • Posting all bank expenditure and banking
    • Reconciliation and submission of bank account
    • Posting and review of sales and purchase ledger
    • Reconciliation of control accounts
    • Accruals and prepayments
    • Monthly/quarterly management accounts
    Candidate Attributes;

    • Previous accounts experience
    • Methodical approach with a strong attention to detail
    • Ability to work well on your own initiative
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Strong MS Excel skills

    Hours:
    Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5pm (4 days per week also considered)

    Salary:
    Up to £30,000 per annum depending on experience
