    Staff Machine Learning Engineer

    Type: Permanent

    Location: London

    Onsite Requirements: Hybrid - 2/3 days a week

    Salary: Ranging between £110,000 - £150,000

    A leading global SaaS business at the forefront of cutting-edge technology are seeking a talented Staff Machine Learning Engineer to join one of their pioneering ML teams. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on one of a kind projects that shape the future of the business, impacting the product evolution as the company continues to grow.

    This role is an opportunity for a Staff Machine Learning Engineer who is passionate about harnessing AI and ML to drive innovation and solve complex problems. You will shape the design of the AI systems (classical ML & LLMs) on AWS and AWS Sagemaker and drive best practises when it comes to Infrastructure as code, CICD and other cloud native deployment approaches.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and deploy scalable machine learning models to enhance our SaaS platform.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
    • Utilize AWS services to design and implement robust machine learning pipelines.
    • Research and implement state-of-the-art AI/ML algorithms to drive innovation and improve product capabilities.
    • Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
    • Demonstrate technical leadership across multiple teams, tackling some of the most complex technical challenges with a hands on approach.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • Expertise building enterprise scale ML & LLM solutions.
    • Proficiency with AWS services, including SageMaker, S3, and EC2.
    • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
    • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset towards tackling challenges.
