The group employs over 1,400 people with 19 sales offices in the UK, and the Republic of Ireland, plus European teams in Belgium and the Netherlands and internationally in Hong Kong, China, India and the UAE.We are looking for.
A European operator to join our team at HQ Dartford who will be the primary contact for their nominated partner – ensuring the smooth overland cargo transit from UK to Europe – in the most cost-effective manner and delivered to the customers expectation.

Act as first point of contact for Europa branch network and overseas partners, escalating issues as requiredControlling the arrival of cargo into the hub ensuring the freight is available to be delivered on time.
Arranging deliveries with customers (external and internal) and partners to agreed SLACommunicating with customers (external and internal) and partners to manage ongoing relationshipsResearch and understand financials of the service to find more profitable means to operate and making the optimum commercial decisions to reduce real costInvestigate cost saving with COT's/DOT's and routing options – maximising operating efficiencyPlanning of groupage departures (export)What you will bring to the role:
Strong, confident personality, with customer service or operation sales background.
Previous experience within transport and logistics in a similar planning role.
Time management and communication skills.
The ability to prioritise and to pro-actively deal with situations and use initiative.
Driven to succeed within the workplace.
