    Job Description

    We are looking for a strategic and commercial Retail Operations Lead to work within the European business at one of the world's top consumer electronics brands.

    This is a strategic and commercial role that will define the development, rollout, and execution of key flagship stores across Europe. It is a brand new role with one direct report, operates at a European level, and requires excellent stakeholder management experience up to HQ and down to the local markets.

    This role will:

    • Be responsible for the strategic development and planning process for European retail, from initial concept to final completion within stores
    • Plan and develop new retail processes including insights, operations, policies & guidelines
    • Work with Real Estate partners, undertake site inspections, development appraisals, P&L inc Capex simulations, legal and planning due diligence on all opportunities
    • Provide clarity on strategy, team purpose & value and define the key areas of focus and direction.

    We are looking for:

    • Experience in Retail Excellence, Operations and new store openings at a European level
    • Strong analytical and reporting skills including forecasting, KPIs metrics, and P&L management
    • Sound European commercial property and legal knowledge. Experinced at working with partners and negotiating with landlords
    • A well-networked individual with strong negotiating skills
    • The ability to multi-task and handle conflicting deadlines
    • policy creation and retail guidelines
    • Strong internal and external stakeholder management experience
    • Flagship store development and launching expertise across Europe

    You don't have to have consumer electronics or technology retail experience. A strong globally known brand, with strong retail excellence, at a European level experience would be desirable.

    There will be some travel, so you need a clean UK driving licence and the flexibility to travel throughout the UK + Europe.
