    The Global Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) organization is a network-focused function which provides strategic direction and technical and operational support to ensure that GSK Pharma Supply Chain network and site goals and objectives are achieved, and determined strategy executed.

    MSAT is the keeper of the body of manufacturing process knowledge, creates the instruction set and ensures manufacturing operations stay aligned with the registered process with the primary objective is to ensure manufacturing processes are capable, compliant, in control and continuously improved.

    MSAT's primary functions are to lead technology transfers, implement control strategies, provide technical process support, provide process support across the product lifecycle, while implementing new products and new modalities for commercial products and product-related programs within the GSK Global SC perimeter.

    As CMC Digital Transformation Lead, you will engage at a leadership level across the business unit, driving the strategic business plan for the business unit, supporting strategy and decision making with critical business insights.

    • Design the business transformation plan for CMC Digital in GSC, Working with Grand Challenge leads and Tech Delivery Team ensure that GSC has a clear transformation plan, which delivers clear benefits to pipeline assets.
    • Implement and lead governance processes to ensure business transformation in GSC is delivered. Track adherence to plan, highlighting and mitigating risks to plan delivery.
    • Ensure interdependencies between R&D and GSC deliverables are clear and between different Smart Manufacturing Workstreams.
    • Attend core program meetings to represent GSC Transformation and Plan Delivery, as appropriate and where required deputize for CMC Digital Program Lead.
    • Work closely with R&D Business Change Lead to ensure transformation plans are aligned and opportunities to leverage materials and approaches are maximized.
    • Identify new opportunities to drive increased value to pipeline or accelerate transformation.
    • Ensure program has a stakeholder engagement plan which ensures key stakeholders are engaged regularly and are supporting the delivery of the transformation.
    • Develop communication approach for transformation, identifying appropriate communication channels and developing communication materials.

    Basic Qualifications:

    We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

    • Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline.
    • 10 years of experience in Pharma/Biotech industry
    • Experience leading the technical aspects of Product Lifecycle, including Technology Transfers, Technical Risk Assessments, Product Control Strategies, Process Capability/Robustness, QBD and Change Control.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

    • Experience with digitalizing technology transfer process.
    • Experience driving improvements in in a business process, delivering and embedding a business change to ensure sustainability.
    • Experience in use of data to drive business improvements.
    • Understanding of New Product Introduction / CMC process
    • Experienced Project Manager, with experience in scoping and leading complex projects.
    • Experience working with various stakeholder groups and driving change.
    • Experienced in root cause analysis.
