Role Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and dynamic Continuous Improvement Director to join our fast-paced Manufacturing business based in Staffordshire.
This is a new position within the business although continuous improvement is not new to the company.Reporting to the CEO you will work closely with the Production Director and Technical Director to gain a good understanding of how the business operates.

Qualifications and Experience:
Person Specification * Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field; a master's degree is advantageous.
* Established track record in process improvement and lean manufacturing principles, preferable within pottery or ceramics manufacturing, but not essential.
* Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and methodologies * Certified as a Black Belt in Six Sigma, showcasing prowess in process improvement and project leadership.
* Demonstrated experience in reviving and optimizing manufacturing areas, re-establishing a culture of continuous improvement. * Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams. * Driven by tangible results, with a desire for driving positive change and achieving meaningful outcomes. * Self-motivated, capable of independently leading and steering improvement projects.* In-depth familiarity with manufacturing processes, materials, and quality control practices would be desired but not essential as a fresh set of eyes is more important * Strong financial management skills.
