    About the role:

    As the Proposition Marketing Manager at the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), you will play a critical role in the marketing team by developing compelling marketing propositions and collaterals tailored to CMI's diverse B2B audience. Leveraging insights from our Research and Sales & Engagement teams, you will ensure that our messaging resonates with the needs and preferences of our stakeholders, including higher education, employer partners, private training providers, management consultancies, and international markets. Your expertise in marketing messaging and exceptional copywriting skills will be pivotal in supporting sales and engagement efforts.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead and mentor a team of three Marketing Executives, guiding them in tailored marketing messaging strategies.
    • Collaborate closely with the product, research, and cross-functional marketing departments to bring a strategic vision to projects, aligning with business objectives.
    • Develop and refine marketing propositions based on insights from the Research and Sales & Engagement teams.
    • Support the Sales & Engagement teams in the sales process; utilising existing experience, marketing, and insight from within the business.
    • Craft compelling marketing collaterals tailored to support B2B sales and engagement conversations, including the creation of persuasive case studies that showcase the success and impact of CMI's propositions.
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive B2B marketing messaging strategy that aligns with CMI's mission and enhances brand presence in key markets, including higher education and employer partners, private training providers, management consultancies, and international markets.
    • Work closely with the Digital Marketing Team to create compelling web content tailored for B2B audiences, ensuring it aligns with overall marketing strategies and enhances CMI's online partner experience.

    • Demonstrated experience in copywriting and tailoring marketing messages in a B2B environment or industry similar to CMI.
    • Strong background in creating marketing collaterals and content that supports sales and engagement.
    • A deep understanding of marketing psychology and its application in developing persuasive marketing materials.
    • Proven ability to use insights and data to inform marketing strategies.
    • Has proven line management experience, with the ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of marketing executives.
    • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
