    Description

    Job Title: Structural Engineer

    Role Overview:

    They are seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join a dynamic team in London. As a key member of our engineering department, you will contribute to the successful delivery of a wide range of projects, collaborating with architects, contractors, and other professionals to bring innovative designs to life.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform structural analysis and design calculations for building projects across multiple sectors, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
    • Produce detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.
    • Collaborate with architects and other design professionals to develop integrated design solutions.
    • Conduct site visits and inspections to assess structural conditions and provide technical support during construction.
    • Participate in project meetings and contribute to design discussions.
    • Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on technical matters.
    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
    • Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartered status.
    • Proven experience in structural analysis and design within a consultancy environment.
    • Proficiency in structural analysis software such as TEKLA, Masterseries, SCIA, TEDDS, ETABS, SAP2000, or similar.
    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
    • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
    • Knowledge of relevant codes and standards, including Eurocodes and British Standards.
