    Job Description

    As an Experienced Natural Gas Trader, you will be responsible for managing your own Profit and Loss (PnL) and Value at Risk (VaR), while effectively maximizing returns for the business. You will have the autonomy to oversee and execute trading strategies within the natural gas market, leveraging your expertise to capitalize on market opportunities and mitigate risks.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Develop and execute trading strategies to profitably trade natural gas commodities.
    2. Monitor market trends, analyze data, and assess risk to inform trading decisions.
    3. Manage your own Profit and Loss (PnL) and Value at Risk (VaR) within established risk parameters.
    4. Build and maintain relationships with counterparties and stakeholders in the natural gas market.
    5. Collaborate with internal teams to optimize trading processes and strategies.
    6. Stay informed about regulatory developments and industry trends affecting the natural gas market.
    7. Provide regular reports and analysis on trading performance and market conditions.

    Qualifications:

    1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
    2. Proven experience as a Natural Gas Trader, with a demonstrated track record of managing PnL and VaR effectively.
    3. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data to inform trading decisions.
    4. Excellent understanding of natural gas markets, including supply and demand dynamics, pricing mechanisms, and regulatory frameworks.
    5. Proficiency in trading platforms and financial modeling software.
    6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
    7. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and competitive trading environment, with a results-driven mindset.
