    Trainee Manufacturing Engineer

    Our client, ainternational leading manufacturing company based in Birmingham, isrecruiting for a Trainee Mill Operative to join their rapidlyexpanding company on a full-time, permanentbasis.

    This is an exciting opportunity forsomeone looking to kick start their career in Manufacturing andEngineering.

    The Trainee Mill Operative /Engineer will receive full training on a 24/7 continuous processingsite. The ideal candidate will be switched on and have a can-doattitude to anything thrown their way.

    You will receive fullin-depth training, learning, and development to help begin yourcareer, which will help progress you into a fully trained role.


    The Role:

    • To undergocomprehensive training and development to ensure the necessaryskills and expertise, to take the business forward, areretained.
    • Use, as instructed, control measures providedfor reasons of health and safety (including safe systems of workand personal protective equipment)
    • Reporting allaccidents, incidents and dangerous occurrences and cooperating inthe incident investigations arising from or possibly leading tohealth & safety and environmental matters.
    • To takecare of the health and safety of themselves and others
    • To maintain and develop your skills to keep up with the demands ofchanging technology,
    working practice and flexibleworking and to assist with the development and trainingof
    colleagues


    The IdealCandidate:

    • Experience working in amanufacturing/production environment is essential.
    • Someone looking to further their education and eventually gain anengineering qualification.
    • The ideal candidate willhave 5 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Forklift Driving isdesirable but not essential.
