    Description

    Red Snapper Recruitment are working with the Metropolitan Police Service to source candidates with recent policing experience and a public protection background who would be interested in 2 year fixed term contracts.

    This will include serious and complex investigations of rape, serious sexual assault, child abuse and domestic abuse.


    Location:

    Can be based in any of the Borough command Units (BCU) locations across London, please specify your preference on applicationContract: Full time, 36 hours per weekSalary: £34,448 per annum, plus £1,841 London Weighting and an Additional Living Allowance of £1,000Benefits: 28 days annual leave and civil service pension schemeMain duties and responsibilities written statements and video recorded evidence from victims and witnesses of crime, this will involve gathering relevant information by interviewing the person.collaboratively with partner agencies, including Children and Adult's Social Care, health and education, as appropriate.applications for examinations of digital media and forensic presenting evidence for court proceedings in Magistrates and Crown criminal law and Police procedures.

    IT skills, to include the use of Microsoft Office products.
    Please note you will need to undergo OST/ELS training and police vetting if you are successful in your application.
