    Quality Engineer - Plymouth, Devon, United Kingdom - Costain Group PLC

    Description

    Due to continued growth, the position of Quality Engineer has become available to join our successful team based in Plymouth.

    We are working on an infrastructure upgrade programme to support the MODs future requirements in relation to both its warship and submarine programme.

    Key Accountabilities:

    · Hold Quality Assurance qualifications relevant to major civil engineering projects

    · Membership of the CQI and/or relevant Quality Assurance/Control professional body

    · Experience working within Construction / Civil Engineering as a Quality Engineer

    Role Requirements

    · Contribute to the development and implementation of project QA/QC and LTR strategy in accordance with the relevant standards and specifications and taking into consideration LFE from previous projects.

    · Support the establishment and ongoing development of the project quality management programmes, ensuring that project learning (LFE) is captured within the management system.

    · Support the project and the supply chain in development of their QA/QC management systems, offering best practice and relevant information captured through LFE.

    · Champions Sustainability Safety, Health and Environment by putting personal safety and wellbeing at the heart of everything we do and helping the environment and communities to thrive

    · Having integrity by always doing the right thing in the right way

    · Must be customer focussed by striving for excellence through understanding, anticipating and meeting their needs
