    Job Description

    We are currently looking to recruit an experienced hotel reservations agent for Mercure London Heathrow Hotel in Hayes. You will ensure the smooth running of guest bookings and enquiries across the four venues.

    This is a permanent role.

    The Perks

    • Salary basic of £25,500
    • 40 hours per week
    • 3 month fixed term contract

    As one of the closest hotels to London Heathrow Airport, the Mercure London Heathrow hotel is your premier choice for airport accommodation. The hotel is the ideal choice for business and leisure travellers alike, with easy-access to central London and plenty of on-site facilities to make your stay a welcome one. Each modern room includes a private bathroom and work desk, while guests can benefit from the hotels on-site gym, restaurant and meeting facilities.

    The on-site Borders Restaurant features a selection of international dishes, freshly prepared in-house. Its simple, yet authentic setting makes for a relaxing night, while a cocktail from the bar helps cap off a memorable stay. Guests visiting on business will benefit from the seven dedicated meeting room located on-site, the largest of which can accommodate 180 guests. Ideal for conferences and events, it's the perfect choice for guests.

    The hotel is conveniently located just under 2 miles from Heathrow Airport. Public transport is available from terminals 2 & 3. All major routes (M4/M25/A4) are easily accessible making it ideal for corporate and leisure travellers.

    The Person

    The ideal Reservations Agent will have the following:

    • Experience in hotels as a reservations agent
    • Be able to commit to the full time role
    • Proven experience in customer service
    • Excellent spoken and written English
    • Genuine desire to help guests and go the extra mile
    • Computer savvy
    • Live local to Hayes or be able to drive
