    Technical Manager

    £50,559.00 per annum, plus essential car userpayment of £

    37hours per week

    Based from Cardiff CF24 1GG, agile working

    6 month fixed term contract, with possibility of extension

    The opportunity:

    Are you an exceptionally well-organized, methodical, and approachable individual? Do you thrive in challenging environments where each day brings something new? If so, this could be the perfect role for you.

    The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the social housing sector, particularly in project management of responsive repairs and void repairs for a diverse property portfolio.

    You should possess outstanding communication skills, able to effectively present reports to Linc's senior management team and other stakeholders.

    This position holds significant importance at Linc, especially at a time when delivering cost-effective services is a top priority. Therefore, the ability to stay composed under pressure is crucial, along with efficiently meeting tight deadlines and managing work priorities.

    You must be self-driven with a proactive mindset, capable of working independently while also being a strong team player.

    What we need from you:

    • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information at all levels.
    • Experience in developing policy and procedure documents.
    • Previous management experience, including the ability to lead, support, and guide colleagues.
    • Promote a positive culture within the reactive assets team.
    • Relevant qualifications and/or experience in the construction field.
    • Knowledge of construction health and safety, legislation, and related processes.
    • Provide technical guidance and assistance as needed regarding property compliance.
    • A collaborative mindset towards undertaking additional tasks related to property compliance.
    • Budget management experience and forecasting expenditures.

    Desirable Qualifications:

    Experience in Asset Management within the housing sector.

    • Knowledge of SOR contracts and open book approaches to service delivery.
