PPC Account Manager - Bicester, Oxfordshire, United Kingdom - Digital Gearbox
4 days ago
Description
£30k – £40k + OTE, depending on experienceHybrid with in-office presence preferredWe're looking for a skilled Account Manager with proven experience in developing and delivering awesome paid advertising strategies across Google and Microsoft ads (including Search, Shopping, and Display Campaigns), and via paid social channels such as Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok.About Digital GearboxDigital Gearbox is a specialist digital marketing agency based in Bicester, Oxfordshire.
Since 2013 we have worked with hundreds of businesses across the globe, helping them grow online using paid advertising on search engines like Google and Bing, and on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok.
As of 2024, we are partnered with over 50 ambitious brands, managing a combined monthly media spend of over £2 million.
Continued excellence has resulted in us being recognised by Google as a Premier Partner, a sought-after accolade that puts us in the UK's top 3% of Google Ads agencies.
Our ValuesThe growth and success we have achieved for our clients and as an agency over the years has come by following five simple core values.
These values have taken us from a small boutique agency to one of the UK's most sought-after specialist agencies.Teamwork:
At the risk of sounding cheesy or cliche, Teamwork makes the dream work.
We're all about collaboration, both internally as a collective of PPC experts, and externally in developing strong relationships that stand the test of time.
We take an aggressively proactive attitude to work, providing a best-in-class service for our clients. Ultimately, we work to be seen as an extension of their own teams.Flexibility:
While we create and implement tried and tested systems we recognise that no two businesses are the same.
Our team employs a flexible mindset, always open to new ideas, processes and attitudes (as long as they don't conflict with our values) as part of the collaborative process.
Hardworking:
The reality of what we do is that it requires a lot of hard work to get good results.
Our team understands that bad input will always result in bad output. We put in the time and effort to ensure our input is thorough, polished and free of errors to ensure optimal results.
Commercial Mindset:
Too often marketers are consumed with "the fluffy stuff", things that, while potentially important, pale in comparison to the bottom line.
We prioritize the commercial side of what we do, because attributing growth and success to our campaigns is the lifeblood of our continued client partnerships.
Always Learning:
Complacency is death. While we're proud of our status as elite PPC practitioners we recognise that what we do is forever changing. We're constantly looking for new knowledge and perspectives that we can use to level up what we do. Every day is a school day as we learn and improve our skills as effective marketers.
The RoleYour primary role will be to work with our clients whose businesses span a variety of different industry sectors.
Your primary focus will be delivering positive results, as well as making sure our clients continue to feel valued and supported.
On a daily basis, you'll analyse data, and optimise campaigns, as well as proactive stakeholder management, maintaining regular contact with your clients to keep them up to date on campaign progress.
While the role is largely client and campaign management focused, There will be opportunities to support our business development functions, and you will be a part of our quarterly business planning meetings which continue to help shape the future direction of our agency.
The IndividualThe ideal candidate will be outgoing, enthusiastic, comfortable managing their own time, able to work effectively both independently and as a team, able to prioritise work and recognise problems and opportunities to seek support if necessary.
You will have at least 2 years of PPC experience in an agency or 3 years in-house. Whilst you don't have to have experience across all channels, experience across a variety of platforms is desirable.Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as well as confidence in dealing with people at a range of different levels.
You should be comfortable analysing the data from our campaigns and weaving this into narratives that our clients will not only understand but appreciate.
You'll be spending time keeping our clients in the loop. You'll bring energy and enthusiasm to any client-facing communications. We want our clients to love youYou will be optimising campaigns based on data; so whilst you don't have to be a maths genius, being comfortable with numbers is a necessity.
Similarly, logic and reasoning skills are a must if you're to effectively tackle a potential minefield of challenges successfully. Finally, and crucially – passion, ambition and curiosity are all essential traits in any candidate as they demonstrate your ability to be a good team player who will contribute to our ongoing success.
What's In It For You?We will provide a competitive salary and bonus scheme. You will get 20 days holiday (plus bank holidays). We are also closed for Christmas, so you can enjoy a proper break with your friends and family. A pension scheme is also included. You will also be enrolled in our benefits membership platform, where you will have access to hundreds of store discounts and a variety of physical and mental well-being perks.
We believe in flexible working hours and maintaining a healthy work/life balance. The role is contracted for a 35-hour week (we typically finish early on Fridays), with start and finish times that can be flexed up or down to suit your lifestyle.
While we believe in the power of working together in person, we recognise this might only work for some of the time.
As such we offer the ability to work from home up to two times per week if needed. As we progress and develop as an agency, you will too. There will be potential for promotion and for your role to evolve around your aspirations and strengths.
We're committed to ensuring that you're constantly learning new skills, and being challenged while feeling valued and supported.
Within our fast-growing agency, there's plenty of opportunity to develop your skillset and you'll be encouraged to be curious and share new ideas.
We're proud of our company values and want all our team to enjoy coming to work and feeling like they're part of something special.
Interested? If this sounds good to you, we'd love to hear from you Please send your CV, along with a cover letter explaining why you think you'll be a great fit for us.
Please note that we typically receive hundreds of applications for our vacancies. While we endeavour to respond to every application, this may not always be possible. If you do not hear from us within 30 days of applying please consider your application to be unsuccessful.
