ABOUT THE ROLE
The Chief Executive leads UNICEF UK and works closely with the Board of Trustees, Executive team, Extended Leadership Group and all colleagues in delivering our vision, mission, values, strategic objectives and operational plans, and creating the conditions for increasing ambition for children.
You will represent UNICEF UK with government, policy makers, opinion formers, supporters, the media and public as well as within the international UNICEF organisation.
The next Chief Executive will require a range of skills and experience. Above all, you must demonstrate a deep commitment to, and ability to role-model, UNICEF UK's values and vision for a better world for every child.

• Leading in a way that enables a high-performing, empowering, values-based organisational culture throughout UNICEF UK, expressed through Our Shared Commitment.
• Being a source of inspiration and motivation to UNICEF UK's people and supporters, and to all wider external stakeholders, policy makers, opinion formers and the public.
• Building on our impressive track record and achievement across fundraising, advocacy, programmes, brand communications, and operations.
• Bringing values-based inclusive leadership and understanding to achieving our strategy, and to our next chapter of significant growth in income, influence and impact.
• Working with the Board, Executive team, and Extended Leadership Group to shape and evolve UNICEF UK's values, culture and strategy to deliver outstanding results and impact for children.
• Ensuring UNICEF UK contributes positively to the leadership and direction of UNICEF internationally. Managing the relationship between UNICEF UK and UNICEF internationally and the wider community of National Committees for UNICEF across more than 30 countries, representing the interests of UNICEF UK, its supporters and beneficiaries with other parts of the UNICEF family globally.
