- You will provide administrative support for a number of projects in the Learning Disability and Autism Programme
- You will provide a full range of administrative duties including when appropriate to all team members, typing, emails, diary management, create and prepare agendas, taking minutes, updating action logs, all to a professional standard.
- You will provide administrative support for the development and implementation of projects and initiatives.
- You will support with co-ordinating resources effectively, ensuring that project documentation is prepared and shared in accordance with project timetables and deadlines.
- You will be expected to support the organisation and administration of events and activities - in the planning and on the day event support, working with Programme Leads from across the team.
- You will support the administration of communications and planning activities across stakeholder groups to ensure effective and impactful delivery of programmes.
- You will need to work autonomously, prioritise your own workload and act on own initiative to meet agreed deadlines
- Educated to NVQ 4 level in a relevant subject or equivalent level of qualification or significant equivalent previous proven experience.
- ECDL or equivalent or equivalent level of experience required
- Significant administrative/ secretarial experience including initiating and maintaining office systems.
- Significant experience of note and minute taking
- Demonstrable experience in dealing with sensitive and confidential information
- Experience of providing admininstrative support
- Intermediate knowledge of IT systems and software programmes such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Teams
- Understanding of Confidentiality and Data Protection Act.
- Basic knowledge of project principles
- Clear communicator with excellent writing, minute taking, data entry and presentation skills: capable of constructing and delivering clear information
- Problem solving skills and ability to respond to sudden unexpected demands
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to re-prioritise
- Skills for communication on complex information and administrative matters, requiring developed interpersonal and oral/ written communication skills

Job summary
The post holder will work as part of the Adult Social Care programme team, providing business support to the Learning Disability and Autism programme.
The post holder will provide and coordinate administrative and secretarial services; including the co-ordination of meetings with internal and external stakeholders undertaking appropriate preparation and follow-up action as required.
The post holder will support the team with the management of projects, gathering information and undertaking enquires as and when is necessary for the colleagues.
Main duties of the job
The role will support the Learning Disability and Autism programme team with general administration including maintaining records, updating systems, diary management, arranging meetings, create and prepare agendas, taking minutes, booking rooms and circulation of emails.
The post holder will be required to be flexible and adaptable in their approach to work, as well as having excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
We need someone really adept at day-to-day admin coordination, proficient in Microsoft Office, supported by strong planning and organising experience, with the ability to extend this to supporting project work and documentation.
The post will work on a hybrid basis including office-based and will involve some travel within Greater Manchester to support training and development activities.
