    Description

    We are hiring a Commercial Manager to join our Estates team As the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for leading the commercial business of our residential estate and conference and events team operations.

    You will work closely with the Accommodation and ResLife Manager to ensure the professional delivery and development of all customer-facing operations.

    Your role includes supporting prospective students' transition into university accommodations and ensuring sound operational management of Leicester Conferences, including the University's dedicated hotel and conference center.

    You will also lead the sales and marketing strategy for the accommodation, residential life, conferencing, and events teams.

    To excel in this role, you should have demonstrable experience managing successful teams and projects, with the ability to manage budgets and implement operational systems.

    This will likely come from being educated to degree level in a relevant field or with significant vocational experience in a similar setting.

    In addition, familiarity with Microsoft Office and other databases is a must.

    This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 because the appointee will have substantial access to young people and/or vulnerable adults.
