    Description

    Cambridgeshire with travel required between two sites in Cambridgeshire & Wrexham (current project sites) with accommodation covered for working away from home.


    Bonuses:

    To optimise the performance through the effective management of two site projects from allocation by the Commercial team to completion.

    Experienced in managing large/multiple projects in the construction or electricity industries.
    Qualification in Project Management.
    Sound project management skills and methodology.
    Degree or equivalent in electrical or civil engineering (or demonstrable level of achievement through experience).
    Computer literate – skilled in the use of Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Project.
    SMSTS.


    Project Management:

    Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with the standards, policies and procedures of the company and its customers.

    Manage multiple and/or major projects safely, competently, and effectively to time, quality and budget.
    Ensure all sub-contracts are approved in line with company policies.

    Ensure projects meets all current legislation CDM, HASAWA, NRSWA C.Identify and inform Company Directors of commercial opportunities as appropriate.

    Review and monitor programme schedule using Project Management tools.
    Prepare project safety and CDM plans and Risk Assessments as part of overall programme.
    Actively monitor teams within your line management responsibility (under LQP.Ensure Risk Assessments are carried out at all stages of a project (design, planning, generic and Daily On Site)


    Planning and organising:
    Take an overview of projects to be completed and allocate resources accordingly.
    Timetable activities within projects including provision of dates to S.A.P. engineers for projects.
    Work with teams to ensure safe, effective and efficient implementation of company operations.
    Manage and review the performance of staff reporting to you and identify training needs.
    Deal with all issues arising including investigation and resolution of customer complaints.
    Liaise with the public to ensure smooth implementation of work.

    Implement the company's approach to Quality in all you do and complete all work to high standards.
    Budget management.

    ~ Cable strikes.
    ~ Attendance at training.
    ~ Team performance – volumes and standards.
    ~ Number of complaints.
