    Finance Assistant - (Maternity Cover)

    We've partnered with the global leader in critical connectivity services to find a Finance Assistant to join the team based in Milton Keynes.

    With cutting-edge technology and a dedicated team, our client ensures the smooth delivery of content to millions of viewers through satellite and fibre infrastructure. Broadcasting over 250 hours of live content daily, they support prestigious clients such as BBC, ITV, and Sky Sports, reaching audiences across multiple territories.

    Their passionate team of over 3,500 employees drives innovation, supporting productions in 65+ countries across all continents. With headquarters in the US and offices in 24 other countries, our client is at the forefront of the broadcasting industry.

    The Role

    As the Finance Assistant, you'll support transaction processing, reconciliations, and reporting for their Senior Management team and the wider group. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic finance team in the broadcast industry.

    Key Duties

    • Manage billing reconciliation and preparation
    • Handle sales ledger management and credit control
    • Assist with expense accounting and payroll support
    • Process purchase ledger and manage supplier relations
    • Prepare payments and assist with banking administration

    Skills/Qualifications Required

    • Finance administration experience
    • Strong planning, organization, and communication skills
    • Proficiency in Excel and numerical accuracy
    • Customer service orientation and ability to work under pressure

    Desired Skills/Qualifications

    • Experience with Sun, Proactis, or Infor Q&A reporting
    • Knowledge of accounting systems, preferably Sun Accounting
    • Experience in the Entertainment industry or with a US group
    • Familiarity with database reporting tools
    • Relevant study such as AAT
